Detailed Trek Route

The Kang La Pass Trek begins from the Annapurna Circuit trail, following the Marsyangdi Valley before entering the restricted Nar Phu region. After reaching Koto, the trail diverts into a narrow and wild gorge leading toward Meta, Phu Gaon, and Nar villages.

Phu Village is one of the most ancient settlements in the region, with strong Tibetan cultural influence and centuries-old monasteries. The landscape here is rugged, isolated, and dramatically beautiful.

After exploring Nar and Phu valleys, the trail gradually ascends toward Kang La Pass. The climb is steep and challenging, but the reward is a breathtaking panoramic view of snow-covered peaks and deep Himalayan valleys.

After crossing the pass, the trail descends to Ngawal, rejoining the Annapurna Circuit route before returning to Chame or Manang area.
