Tsum Valley Trek in Manaslu Region

Explore the Hidden Sacred Valley of Happiness in Nepal

Trip Overview

The Tsum Valley Trek is one of Nepal’s most remote, spiritual, and culturally preserved trekking journeys, located in the Manaslu region of northern Gorkha. Known as the “Hidden Valley of Happiness,” Tsum Valley remained closed to outsiders until 2008, preserving its ancient Tibetan Buddhist culture, monasteries, and traditional Himalayan lifestyle.

Organized by Nepal Tour & Treks Pvt. Ltd., this trek offers a rare opportunity to explore untouched landscapes, sacred monasteries, mani walls, prayer flags, and centuries-old villages surrounded by dramatic Himalayan scenery.

The journey passes through deep river gorges, suspension bridges, pine forests, and high mountain settlements before reaching the upper Tsum Valley villages such as Chumling, Chhokang Paro, Nile, and the sacred Mu Gompa.
