Detailed Trek Route
The Ghorepani–Ghandruk Trek begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu or Pokhara to Nayapul, followed by trekking through beautiful villages and green hills.
The trail climbs steadily through Tikhedhunga and Ulleri, famous for their stone staircases and panoramic valley views. As trekkers ascend higher, the route enters dense rhododendron forests filled with birds and seasonal flowers.
Ghorepani is a popular mountain village surrounded by forest and Himalayan views. From here, an early morning hike leads to Poon Hill for one of the most iconic sunrise experiences in Nepal.
After enjoying the sunrise, the trek continues through forests and villages toward Tadapani and Ghandruk. Ghandruk is one of the most beautiful Gurung villages in Nepal, offering traditional culture, museums, and spectacular mountain scenery.
The trek then descends back to Nayapul and returns to Pokhara.

Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu/Pokhara to Nayapul and Trek to Tikhedhunga
