Detailed Trek Route

The Everest Base Camp Trek begins with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, followed by trekking through the Khumbu Valley.

The trail passes through Phakding and climbs to Namche Bazaar, the main Sherpa town and acclimatization hub.

From Namche, the route continues through Tengboche, famous for its monastery and panoramic mountain views.

The trail then ascends through Dingboche and Lobuche before reaching Everest Base Camp.

A major highlight is the early morning hike to Kala Patthar, offering the best close-up view of Mount Everest.

The return follows the same route back to Lukla.
